85% say they’ve used AI for coursework

55% say they’ve used it for “brainstorming ideas”

50% say they’ve used it as a tutor

46% say they’ve used it for studying for exams

44% say they’ve used it for editing, writing or checking work

42% say they’ve used it as a search engine

38% say they’ve used it to generate summaries

31% say they’ve used it to outline papers

26% say they’ve used it to generate citations

19% say they’ve used it to generate full essays

The data also shows that 55% of those who have used AI for coursework
 say it can make them think less deeply.

However, according to Forbes, AI is not only used by college students for coursework…
